You can invite Users to collaborate on your project through Exchange. You can assign different levels of access for each User to create, edit, and delete Assets, Notes, and other Users.
Goviso requires a valid email address for all user accounts. When you add a user to your project, you provide only that user's email address.
Exchange sends an email invitation to the user containing a secure link that brings them to a Goviso registration page, where they register their own name and password. If they already have a Goviso account, they simply log in to the project.

When a new user is added to the project, their information will appear as below. Their status will appear as "pending" until they have accepted the invitation to the project. Their first and last name will remain unknown until they accept the invitation. You can use this status to determine which of your invited users have accepted your invitation.
You can control permissions for each user to create, edit, and delete assets, notes, and other users. By default, a new user is given Standard permissions. You can change permissions as follows:

The Edit and Delete checkboxes each have secondary permissions of "own" or "all". If "own" is selected, they may only edit/delete something they've created. For example:
If Assets-Delete is checked, and "own" is selected, the user may only delete Assets that they have uploaded.
If Users-Edit is checked, and "all" is selected, the user may edit any user in the project, regardless of who created that user.
A preset is simply a combination of permissions for convenience. You can select a preset from the drop down list instead of manually setting permissions through the checkboxes.

Deleting a user removes their access to the project, it does not delete their overall Goviso account.
You can send an email to a group of users in a project through Exchange.

You can send or re-send a project invitation to users. Exchange sends an email invitation to the user containing a secure link that brings them to a Goviso registration page, where they register their own name and password. If they already have a Goviso account, they simply log in to the project.
